بديتي مع اوبونتو من Øوالي سنتين عرÙته عن طريق صديق اهداني نسخة 5.4 علي ما اتذكر
وقمت بتنزيلها وماكنت علي دراية بالينوكس من الاساس
عجبتني النسخة وقررت ان استخدمها كمستخدم عادي وكنت اتتبع اخبار الشركة واقوم بتنزيل اØدث النسخ ÙÙŠ يوم اصدراها مباشرة
ثم قررت دراسة اللينوكس دراسة اكاديمية بجانب مجالي ÙÙŠ الشبكات
لان التعامل مع برنامج تشغيل قوي واامن ÙŠÙديني كثيرا ÙÙŠ مجالي
وها انا الان ادرس منهج LPI

Yo llegué a Ubuntu hace dos años atrás ya que mi novia estudia Ingenieria en Informática. Me he dado cuenta de que Ubuntu permite muchas más opciones al usuario, pudiendose configurar y personalizar ampliamente el sistema operativo sin la necesidad de descargar y piratear aplicaciones especÃficas para la personalización. Por lo mismo mi computador lo siento más mio.

Better windows than Windows.
When doing my job I am decidedly hands-on, which means I fight computer problems daily. I'm saying this not to brag, but to explain why I liked Ubuntu: it works and whatever new application I explored had little problems if any at all.
Another likable aspect is that Ubuntu can be as easy to use as Windows XP, but people who like to challenge their skills can dive as deeply as they dare to do inside the OS.
Using some applications, Compiz, for example Ubuntu (or I should say X11?) can draw some breath taking windows, more appealing than what their capitalized namesake can do.
Strike four (but not last): installing a new version is a walk in the park compared to the Russian roulette of updating to a new MS OS. The reason for that is not because the Redmond developers are not good at their job, rather because of the initially poorly designed (and never corrected) Windows archtecture.
What are you waiting for? Try it, Ubuntu is free.

Linux si adatta bene su ogni tipo di hardware, prendete per esempio un vostro vecchio personal computer di circa 7-8 anni fa, il suo attuale valore sarebbe rasente allo zero, in nessun negozio riuscireste a trovare un sistema operativo capace di ridare splendore al vostro vecchio giocattolo. Ho installato Ubuntu ed ho ridato splendore alla mia vecchia workstation che uso per lavorare. Nessuno si accorgerebbe della sua reale età . Costo dell'operazione? Come dite??? non ho sentitooo?!

Being a newbie was a bit troubled when I could not get the wifi card working but with some great and abundant tutorial available on the net,I have everything working on my home desktop,work laptop a t40p & the wife's Asus eePC and have never been happier. I am amazed that such a great OS is actually free.

I was a Windows user, and was very curious about Linux. I searched information on Google about Linux, and the information I received was that Ubuntu was the most secure, easy-to-use distribution and I am now a full-time Ubuntu user. Might I also add that Vista caused me many hardships.

I have been using Ubuntu for 6 months now and I just cant think about going back to Windows or any other system. The freedom of Ubuntu is fantastic, the graphics and the possibility to change it to what YOU like and need is great. Also all the programs I need are totally free.

Comenze usando windows desde sus versiones mas primitivas, luego probe el mac os x y leyendo senti curiosidad por linux, solicite mis cds sin costo alguno a Colombia de ubunto 7.01 y ahora lo uso en el trabajo y en la casa principalmente por que cuenta con practicamente cualquier programa que yo llegue a necesitar, por que a traves de el desinfecto de virus las memorias usb y los equipos de mis compañeros de trabajo, por que descubri que eso de que el software libre no tiene soporte es una mentira, ya que cualquier incoveniente que he tenido lo he resuelto con los aportes de la comunidad de ubuntu (excelente documentacion) podria seguir diciendo un monton de cosas, pero para ser breve concluyo diciendo que he probado varios de los sistemas operativos mas populares y que ubuntu linux me parece el mejor

ÙˆØالياً أعمل على توزيعة slitaz على جهازي المتواضع ... عندما نزلت نسخة الأوبونتو الأخيرة كنت أنتظرها بÙارغ الصبر ... وأصبت بالدهشة من نظام التشغيل الأكثر من متميز

Las facilidad de aprendizaje y personalización de los sistemas GNU/Linux me atraÃan mucho, incluso hice en su dÃa varias incursiones hace bastantes años no con mucho éxito debido principalmente al soporte de hardware. Por otro lado veÃa cómo se avecinaba la polÃtica más cruda de Microsoft aplicada en Vista y cuanto más te informabas, más te llevabas las manos a la cabeza.
Aunque eran dos razones ya suficientemente potentes, fue la comprensión y admiración del software libre como filosofÃa, no sólo como tipo de software, la que me animó a dar el salto definitivo. Sin duda la mejor decisión -en términos informáticos- que he tomado en mi vida.
Por ello intento devolver a la comunidad la ayuda prestada dando a conocer este mundillo a mis amistades/familiares y a desconocidos que buscan también un cable al que agarrarse a través de un blog dedicado exclusivamente a GNU/Linux, software libre y Ubuntu.

Od długiego czasu interesowałem się systemami z rodziny GNU/Linux. Było to zainteresowanie polegające głównie na kibicowaniu temu systemowi aby pewnego dnia podjął równą walkę z Windowsem i MacOS. Pierwszy Linux na moim komputerze zagościł jeszcze w czasach liceum i był to RedHat.
Niestety tak jak szybko się pojawił, tak szybko również zniknął. Kolejny raz szansa dla Linuxa wróciła wraz z realizowanym na studiach kursem "Systemy Operacyjne", był to DSL (okrojona odmiana Knoppixa). Zadziwiło mnie jak elegancko system ten poradził sobie z nietypową konfiguracją mojego komputera. Od tego momentu zacząłem na poważnie rozglądać się w świecie dystrybucji Linuxa. Przeszedłem przez wiele odmian od Fedory przez Ubuntu 7.10, openSUSE 10.3 czy Debian Lenny.
W tej chwili na moim dysku siedzi właśnie Ubuntu a dokładnie Kubuntu 8.04 i jestem z niego zadowolony. Po doświadczeniach zdobytych na Debianie, mogę konfigurować go według własnych potrzeb. Zresztą to był główny powód testowania Debiana, aby dowiedzieć się więcej o tym systemie, aby być zmuszonym do "pogrzebania" w nim odrobinę. Obecnie jak już wspomniałem pracuję na Ubuntu i z czystym sercem mógłbym go polecić każdemu nowemu użytkownikowi. Każdy system operacyjny ma wady i zalety, nie dajcie sobie wmówić że któryś jest najlepszy. Ubuntu jest bardzo dobry ale ma tą zasadniczą przewagę, że jest darmowy.

I was a windows-addict , but in the university , someone gave me a cd of ubuntu 7.10 , I tried , and i love it. I've installed it and now i can't leave it ....
Of course , it is not perfect , but is good enought , better than windows and free.

I've been playing with Linux and Ubuntu on and off for a few years, and for now at least, constsantly come back to Windows as I find it a little too frustrating (well, that and I miss Outlook, along with the various programs and browser extensions I've written for Avant).
I've documented alot of my experiences both on forums, and in my old newsletter (I'll not link to them - just search for "MysteryFCM + Linux" ;o)), but more recently, I installed Ubuntu using Wubi, and whilst I don't use it often, it does give me the chance to play with it without having to load the live CD (pretty important considering my lappys CD drive is dead), and so far, thanks to help from Scotts Newsletter forums, I've been able to solve a couple issues, so may be moving it to a more permanent partition.

الØقيقة جربت لينوكس منذ سنوات الاصدار ريد هات ولم يكن لدى رغبة ÙÙ‰ التأقلم عليه ولكن منذ شهر تقريبا قمت بتنزيل نسخة لينوكس اوبنتو على جهازى نسختها لعى اسطوانة وقمت بتنزيلها بداÙع Ù†Ùاذ صبرى من مشاكل الاكس بى التى تجعلنى اØيانا اندم على معرÙتى بالكمبيوتر Ùلا يوجد يوم دون ظهور اخطاء Ùˆ Øروب Ùيروسات واختراق علما انى مسالم جدا لكن المشاكل تأتى اما من الانترنت او من Ùلاشة صديق او اسطوانة بمعنى أدق من تواÙر Øسن النية Ùشعرت ان نسخ مايكروسوÙت تØتاج لعلاج جذرى واصØاب مايكروسوÙت اما انهم لا يأبهون او انهم لا يعرÙون تخطى تلك المشاكل
ما علينا قمت بتØميل الاصدار بغرض التجربه ولكن سبØان الله وجدت شيئا أخر غير الذى كنت أتوقعه تواÙÙ‚ وبرامج بديله Ùˆ التعر٠تلقائيا على الجهاز الØديث نسبيا كما ان الانترنت بدأ العمل من مرØلة الاعداد يعنى قبل الدخول للاوبنتو اصلا لم اجد رسائل الخطأ المعتادة من اكس بى لم اØتاج الى تسطيب بعض الماسنجرات وهذه كانت المÙاجأه لأنى وجدت برنامج ÙŠÙØªØ Ø¨Ø±Ø§Ù…Ø¬ الشات
باختصار وجدت عالم اخر انا سعيد به وانتظر ان اتعمق Ùيه لأكتشÙÙ‡ أكثر Ùˆ لأتنعر٠على المميزات Ùˆ العيوب للعمل على توÙيره لعملائى بدلا من نسخ مايكروسوÙت التى تجعلك تعيش ÙÙ‰ Øرب Ù†Ùسية كل يوم نتيجة الاخطاء والÙيروسات والاختراقات Ùˆ التجسس الخ

Z Ubuntu zacząłem korzystać od wersji 5.10. Powodem zmiany systemu na inny nie było restartowanie się Windowsa czy też częste Blue Screen Of Death. Nie, o ile pamiętam, mnie to nie spotykało - na szczęście. Chciałem po prostu poznać coś nowego. Polecono mi Ubuntu - prosta instalacja, przyjemna konfiguracja systemu. Podobało mnie się, że mogę administrować swoim systemem za pomocą terminala, więc zamówiłem Ubuntu za darmo za pomocą strony shipit.ubuntu.com.
Lubię korzystać z konsoli, za jej pomocą mogę wykonać różne czynności o wiele szybciej, niż wtedy, kiedy miałbym czekać na otworzenie się jakiegoś graficznego programu. Podoba mnie się, jak łatwo mogę zainstalować jakiś program. APT jest genialny. Dzięki niemu nie tracę tyle czasu na szukanie programu w Internecie, tylko ściągam go z repozytoriów. Naprawdę polecam ten system każdemu.

Øقيقة لا انكر Ùضل ويندوز بدايةً ولكن ويندوز ايظاً لاينكر مشقتي ومعاناتي معه
انا إلى الآن استغرب من الأخوة العرب الذين يصرون على ويندوز مع قوة وثبات وجمال مظهر اللينكس بجميع توزيعاته ( لا وجه للمقارنه بين النظامين ) لينكس متÙوق بجميع الوجوه " رأي شخصي "
Ø§Ù†ØµØ ÙƒÙ„ من يرد الثبات والأمان والØرية والجمال ان يستخدم لينكس وان كان مبتديء Ùعليه بالتوزيعات السهله مثل ubuntu
ممكن تواجهك بعض المشاكل وستتعر٠على Øلول لها من خلال Øبيب الشعب google

In 2006, I decided to test the Cube Desktop in Beryl, and so I install my first Linux system, that was Mandriva. Unfornately, I was totaly lost, and no access to the Community.
After that I heard about Ubuntu. I decided to test it... and it didn't work because of my ATI graphic card.
I post a thread on the French forum of Ubuntu (http://www.ubuntu-fr.org) and in 40 minuts somebody help me.
The French Community is very active, and the Wiki is so good.
And The distribution is so easy to use. That's why I installed Ubuntu on all my computer. I become an Ubuntu addict. I update my Ubuntu to the news Alpha 5 for each version since Gutsy Gibbon :p. I joined recently the Ubuntu-party-Paris team.
